Submitted Content: Colorado Tribute Audio

Posted on Posted in Blog, Blog Feeds, Submitted Content

I don’t have a lot of words for what happened in Colorado.  My parents still live there.  I have tons of friends there.  I used to live in a house about 5 miles from that theater.  But luckily for me I wasn’t close to anyone directly affected.  At least not that I know of yet.  So many were and this is just yet another example of why I should never be a cop.  I don’t know how they conjure up the amount of restraint they have in those situations. How he wasn’t simply shot, many many times, on site evades me.  But again, Police Officers are built much differently than me.

Here is a submitted piece from Blog Reader, Talented Voice Artist and Skillful Audio Producer, Brent Sears.  He images a local radio station on which this was used but tells me he is on his way to NY for new opportunities. So good luck to him!

  1. This is moving stuff Ryan, thanks for sharing, I just discovered your podcast and am catching up on archive episodes. You’ve interviewed some legends. Thanks for asking the producers to share their settings and offer up advice. I find I’m learning multiple tricks each episode I listen to. “Pay it forward” I couldn’t agree with that statement more!
